In every factor of people, you can never expect that they don't have any belief they must obey according to their reputation. For example, a group of family that couldn't attend to some occasion they are not allowed to, due to their religion's rules or etiquette they should obey. And to others, who have certain tasks they should always do, such as giving food to a statue believing that there's a blessing they will get from and other similar ones.
Every country, they also have this kind of belief, and here in Philippines people seemed to accustom word of "po" and "opo", to show their respect to the people who are superior among them, and believing that child or young adult that doesn't use these to someone older or superior is not acceptable and can be considered as profanity. Thus, we should always consider beliefs or else it'll result in unpleasant traits for the ones owning those certain beliefs.
Always remember to research first before engaging with some event or place.
